On November 29, 2023, Maria Guzikova, Director of the Educational and Methodological Center of the University of Central Asia, held a master class for lecturers, undergraduates and PhD doctoral students of the AIU. During the master class, the coach shared techniques and methods to increase students' involvement in academic reading and assignments, effective reading, discussion of scientific texts and primary sources. The master class was accompanied by various exercises on working with academic texts, discussing and annotating texts. 

This master class was held on the initiative of the Department of Pedagogy, Head of the Department of Pedagogy Zhyldyz Takenova.

AIU thanks coach Maria Guzikova for the informative master class and expresses hope for further fruitful cooperation.
