On February 7, 2023, an open lesson was held in the form of discussions “Transformation of traditional family values: myth or reality?” for students of the Department of Pedagogy of the Ala-Too International University.

Bakyt Isakzhanov, Deputy director of the Center for Educational Work with Youth of the AIU, raised the acute topic of preparing young people not only for family life, but also for conscious parenting.

The lesson addressed topical issues of family education and upbringing in modern conditions of society development. The special mission of the educational process, the influence of the personality of the teacher on increasing the prestige of a happy harmonious young family in society, the popularization of family values and the formation of traditional family values among students were emphasized.

Real relationships in the family sphere are determined by a person's worldview and, in particular, ideas about the family, therefore, the value orientations of students, the peculiarities of ideas about the family, about future family roles, motives for marriage and plans to create a family were touched upon in an open lesson.
